- The breaker is chosen by coin toss; the cue ball is struck from behind the head string.
- The first legally pocketed ball assigns your group: solids (1-7) or stripes (9-15).
- Keep pocketing your own group to keep your turn.
- A foul gives your opponent ball in hand: they place the cue ball anywhere.
- Once your group is cleared, CALL a pocket and sink the 8 — the wrong pocket loses the game.
- Shot clock is 45 seconds; leaving the table forfeits the game.
